Construction Technology is an exciting program at CCCTC.  When you take these courses, you will learn valuable skills that will benefit you the rest of your life, no matter what career you choose later!  Whether you decide to go to college, vocational school, or straight to work after high school, the odds are you will own your own home one day and will need to know how to fix things around the house.  Learn how to repair, build, and create projects using power tools on wood, metal, stone, and various other materials.  You can work on projects at all levels of difficulty, from building bookshelves to the completion of our tiny house! 

 

Courses offered in this 2-year program include:

• Introduction to Construction Technology

• Floor and Wall Framing

• Site Layout and Foundation

• Ceiling and Roof Framing

• Exterior and Interior Finish

At the end of your two years here at CCCTC, you can complete the Construction Technology program with certifications in NCCER Core & Level I, as well as the pre-apprenticeship TRACK exam for those students who choose to make a career in the construction industry.
